Mission:

To provide a dedicated service for directors of large and small instrumental ensembles in the distribution of new, quality arrangements and compositions from beginning to collegiate performance levels as well as educating people in the art of percussion and other musical forms through top quality instruction to all ages.

History:

I began teaching in 1998 as a studio instructor in Jackson, MS and since 2002 I have worked consistently with the Montevallo Troubadour Marching Band and Winter Ensemble as they have performed Pike-Music.com arrangements and received excellent ratings in competitions throughout Alabama.

In late 2005 I returned to my home in the Northwestern U.S. and am now teaching at East 2 West Studios and working as a freelance percussionist and web designer.

Goals:

To compose, arrange and instruct using my talents and my passion for percussion and music for the benefit of those students with whom I teach, the instructors with whom I work, and for the enjoyment and satisfaction of the community.

New Piece

I've started work on a new percussion piece for solo performer. In the rudimental and virtuosic style. I'll let you know how it progresses.

I've recently begun teaching privately at East2West Studios in Clackamas, OR. It's a blast and Charles, Brett and all the instructors are awesome to work with! You can even check them out at Myspace.

This website has just opened and as it is developed and expanded all of our pages will be up and running. It is a great improvement over pike-publishing.com, and will take its place by June. It is my desire to continue to provide an excellent user interface and personalized customer service, so let me know how I am doing.
